About this file
This document package includes a selective demolition specification and related federal contract opportunity. The selective demolition specification outlines requirements for the removal of selected portions of an existing building in preparation for new construction. Key aspects include hazardous material abatement, protection of existing structures, and disposal of demolished materials.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation to construct an Aircraft Support Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance facility at Bradley Air National Guard Base in East Granby, Connecticut. The project magnitude is between $10-25 million. The North American Industry Classification code is 236220 and the size standard for small businesses is average annual revenue of $39.5 million for the past three years. The solicitation will be posted on sam.gov. Instructions for drawings and specifications are in section 00100. Funds have been identified but are not presently available, with no contract award until funds are appropriated.
