II. INSTALLATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION

A. Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ

(1) INTRODUCTION

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., is home to five wings. The 87th Air Base Wing is the host wing, with a vision is to be America's premier joint warfighting installation and air mobility center of excellence. The wing's mission is to provide unrivaled installation support to all mission commanders and to provide mission-ready, motivated, expeditionary Airmen to our combatant commanders. Across the five wings the Fuels Management Team supports 88 mission partners and 120 joint service aircraft (KC-10s, C-17s, C-12s, C-130s, AH-1Ws, CH-53Es, UC-35s, UH-1Ys and various TDY/transient aircraft). Also with the vast real estate available on Ft. Dix, we are home for various Reserve and National Guard training missions along with mobilizing, deploying, and demobilizing their Soldiers.

(2) HOURS OF OPERATION

Normal hours for fuels operations are identified below. Contractor must be capable of providing 24 hours x 7 days per week PWS coverage when required including for weather, natural disaster, exercise, or other contingency operations.

NOTE (2): Fuels Operations shall operate during normal or required extended hours of operation and on observed holidays unless authorized to close by the Wing Commander or designee. If closed, standby personnel shall be identified to MOC and Security Forces and be available to respond within 1 hr.

(3) WORKLOAD INFORMATION

Base workload/requirements are provided below. Quantities and durations are estimates only and subject to variation. Variation does not directly correspond to additional requirement or staffing without validation and/or increase in normal hours of operation by the Contracting Officer.

(4) BASE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

During Army/Marine exercises on Ft. Dix ranges, units may request ground fuel support. This support consists of filling respective service tank trucks with Diesel fuel. TDY units request fuel in advance of their arrival to aid in inventory ordering with fills occurring during normal duty hours. Also, captured in the C-300 fills, about once a quarter in support of the 108th Guard unit located on McGuire, we fill their C-300.

Lastly, as far as real estate for the contract; three tanks are located in the main storage yard, but one tank is isolated by itself about 2 miles down the road.

(5) FACILITIES

The following on-site installation facilities may be used by the Contractor in performance of the PWS tasks. The facilities may be changed, by the local installation, from time to time to meet mission requirements. The Contractor will be notified prior to any change of location. The government provide furniture can be used and will not be replace by the government.
