McGuire AFB Technical Questions & Answers
1. Please provide information on nitrogen bottle replacement at McGuire AFB. Number of bottles consumed per year?
Answer: Nitrogen bottles are not used.
2. Appendix AF states the contractor was not called in outside of their normal duty hours as the contractor is available 24 hrs. We acknowledge the contractor is required to be available 24 hours; however, in order to price the project accurately we will need to be aware of how often, if at all, the contractor was required to report to perform bulk storage operations outside of the 0700-2400 Monday-Friday hours. Please provide how often the contractor was required to open bulk storage to perform operations outside of their normal operating hours.

3. The workload information states that there have been 0 times that the Contractor has been called in outside normal duty hours as Contractors are available 24 hours. Please confirm the Contractor has also not had to have personnel stay after normal duty hours to complete receipts/transfers/issues.

4. The workload information states that there have been 0 times that the Contractor has been called in outside normal duty hours as Contractors are available 24 hours. Would the Contractor be reimbursed if personnel have to stay after normal duty hours to complete receipts/transfers/issues?
Answer: Refer to PWS Section C-5.1 Staffing and PWS Appendix F.
5. The workload information references two emergency generators being in the Contractor's AOR. Please confirm that a Government entity is responsible for conducting the periodic generator testing and maintenance.
Answer: Refer to PWS Appendix AF, Section (3) Workload Information.
6. The workload information references two emergency generators being in the Contractor's AOR. Please confirm that the Government provides the fuel for this generator in the event that the Contractor is responsible for testing.

7. The workload information states that quarterly, semi-annual and annual maintenance on GFP is provided by DLA Energy. Please confirm the Contractor is only responsible for operator level inspection.
Answer: Refer to PWS Section 5 Performance Requirements, Sub-Paragraph C-5.3.1 and C- 5.3.2.1.
8. The workload information states that quarterly, semi-annual and annual maintenance on GFP is provided by DLA Energy. Please confirm the Contractor is only responsible for coordination with CE for maintenance of GFP.
Answer: Refer to Appendix AF Table 2 and PWS Section C-5.3.
9. The base specific requirements provide a listing of Government-furnished facilities to be used by the Contractor. Are replacement spill kits to be provided by the Contractor or the Government beyond the initial three listed in the Appendix?
Answer: Refer to PWS Section C-5.8.2 Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Services.
10. There is no listing of furniture included for the Government furnished facilities. Does the Government provide furniture for the Contractor's use?
Answer: COR is currently completing an inventory and we will update the Appendix AF once complete.
11. The workload information does not include information on when the Contractor can receive trucks or pipeline receipt. What is the normal window that receipts occur, by conveyance, to the Installation?
