About this file
This document is a site utilization plan for the Collins Street Phase I Improvements project by the City of Plant City's Engineering Department, located in Plant City, Florida. The document details the use of a ¾ acre property at 611 S. Collins Street, owned by the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), which will be made available to the contractor for project-related purposes including office space, parking, equipment and material storage during the project term. The site is restricted from storing contaminated or potentially contaminated soils and groundwater, with specific requirements for temporary facilities, including connecting office trailers to city water and sewer, installing a 6' high chain link fence with two 12' gates, and maintaining secondary fuel containment.
The document outlines strict conditions of use for the contractor, which include daily inspections for equipment leaks, immediate reporting and cleanup of any fluid leaks, weekly site inspections by the city, and complete responsibility for site maintenance and security throughout the project duration. The contractor must also provide a Spill Prevention and Response plan and restore the site to its pre-construction condition prior to final project completion. The site is located near a CSX Railroad and includes existing water main and sanitary sewer infrastructure. The project date is noted as 7/01/25, and the document emphasizes that no other CRA or City of Plant City properties will be available for contractor use.
