About this file
This document is a site use specification sheet for the Collins Street Phase I Improvements project by the City of Plant City Engineering Department. The document details the use of a ¾ acre property located at 611 S. Collins Street, owned by the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), which will be made available to the contractor for project-related purposes including office space, parking, equipment and material storage during the project term. The site is specifically designated for contractor use with strict conditions, including the provision of a 6' high chain link fence with two 12' gates, and mandatory connections to city water and sewer facilities.
The site use comes with comprehensive environmental and operational requirements, including prohibitions on storing contaminated or potentially contaminated soils and groundwater, mandatory secondary containment for fuel storage, and daily inspections for equipment leaks and general housekeeping. The contractor is responsible for site maintenance, security, and must provide a Spill Prevention and Response plan. Weekly inspections by the City will be conducted, and the contractor must immediately correct any deleterious conditions. Upon project completion, the contractor must restore the site to its pre-construction condition. The project is dated for 7/01/25 and is located near a CSX Railroad, with water main and sanitary sewer infrastructure present.
