About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Facility Investment (Section C, 1502000) for a Navy contract covering maintenance and repair services at naval installations in Italy. The contract requires comprehensive maintenance of various facility systems and equipment, including preventive maintenance, emergency/urgent/routine work, inspections, testing, and certification across multiple system types such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, transportation, and fuel systems.
Key performance objectives include maintaining facilities, ground structures, and equipment to ensure safe, fully functional, and operational conditions while minimizing breakdowns. The contractor must develop and implement multiple maintenance programs, including Preventive Maintenance (PM), Integrated Maintenance Program (IMP), and Other Recurring Services Program. Critical requirements include performing monthly and annual inspections, maintaining detailed logs, submitting monthly reports, complying with manufacturer specifications and industry standards, and responding to emergency work orders within specified timeframes. The contract covers both recurring work (with a $300,000 initial Facility Bullet value) and potential non-recurring work to be ordered separately.
