Please provide the duration it will take for the owner to move from Bldg 674 to the new facility so offerors can assess if the period of performance is sufficient.

utility centers (JSN D7090R). Please provide clarification for bidding purposes.

A-134 Drawing A-134 shows two (2) dental chairs in room 2C09 RECOVERY, but does not show any dental utility boxes (JSN D7090, D7090R) associated with the chairs.

Please confirm whether these chairs will require dental utility boxes and, if not, what utilities these chairs will require.

Dental chairs in room 2C09 are intended for recovery purposes and only require electrical access.

A-135 11 71 00 2.4.2, 2.4.3 It appears that the decontamination procedure for tools and instruments is for them to be run through the S0960E Washer/Disinfector, loaded onto the S0290 Racks and moved across the sterilization room into the S0237 Sterilizers, then loaded onto the S0295 Loading Car/Transfer Carriage and taken to the cabinetry for storage. Based on comments from the manufacturer, however, the sterilizers cannot accommodate both the racks/internal shelves (S0290) and loading cars/transfer carriages (S0295); one or the other must be selected.

Please clarify the design intent of rooms 2D01 STER STOR, 2D02 STERILIZATION, and 2D03 DECON, and please advise which of S0290 or 20295 should be priced for bidding purposes.

Design intent of the rooms is correct.

Rack (S0290) and carriage (S0295) devices are programmed/planned to support the loading and unloading the devices. These accessories may differ between manufacturers; base bids off of your proposed manufacturer/model and anticipated accessories to support the flow of instruments through decontamination and sterilization processes.

12 35 70 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3

Please identify which JSN items are to be classified as Medical Casework, Dental Casework, and Dental Prosthetics Casework in accordance with specification 12 35 70.

It was mentioned at the site visit that there are restrictions to regular working hours due to graduation times. Please provide the addtional schedule constraints and amount of weekends we can expect gradutation.

CS502 CS502 calls for unit pavers as truncated domes. Can you confirm that these are to be pavers instead of ADA rated tactile plastic sheets which are far more economical and can be cast in versus just installed on top after placement?

Confirmed. Construct per the design.

S525 S525 calls for 1’’ thick compressible foam on each side of the gusset plate. Please state its purpose, how it should be applied, and if this is required. If this is not required please confirm what should be in its place.

1" foam is required to isolate the fold line of the gusset plate from the concrete so that it is not restrained. Place foam against the gusset plate on each side and pour the concrete against it.

A-114 and A-134

Drawings A-114 and A-134 shows the dimensions of elevator 1CE1 and 1CE2. The specs call for elevator 1 and 2 to be 4500lb elevators. The elevator manufactures do not believe that there is enough room called out on the drawings to fit two 4500lb elevators. Please advise

Passenger elevators 1CE1 and 1CE2 will be 4000lb elevators. Will correct Section 14 24 23 Paragraph 2.1.1.1. Supporting documentation to be provided in forthcoming amendment.

14 24 23 2.1.1 2.1.1 Specification 14 24 23 2.1.1 calls for 1CE1, 1CE2 and 1FE3 to be in-ground direct plunger type elevators.

Several elevator manufactures we have spoken with do not believe the elevator shaft is large enough to accommodate an in-ground direct plunger type elevator.

A minimum additional 1' would be needed at the bottom of the elevator shaft. Please advise

Section 14 24 23 Paragraph 2.1.1.1 Type changed to Twinpost above ground 1-stage and rated load to 4000lbs with 4'-0" depth (1CE1 and 1CE2). Paragraph

Hazardous Materials Survey

Page 5 3 Paragraph reads, "Prior to demolition/renovation activities,, LBP material that is likely to be disturbed or damaged to the extent that significant amounts of lead would be released, must be removed and/or managed and disposed of using approved practices under USEPAs NESHAP, 40 CFR Part 745." 40 CFR Part 745 is the subpart that mandates Lead Based Paint Poisoning in Certain Residential Structures. This regulation does not or appear to apply to this project. Lead-basedpaint associated with this project is mostly associated with red paint on structural steel components throughout Building 674 and 602. Standard demolition practices consiting of demolishing stuctural or building components with lead-based paint, in place with heavy equipment, as long as 29 CFR 1926.62 is followed. We do not believe the intent is to scrape and remove the 37,9992 SF of red lead-based paint associated with these components. During demolition, the steel components, painted with lead-based paint will be segregated from the building construction debris and sent to recycling yard as lead, is a metal and can be recycled. The question is, "Does the red lead-based paint need to be scraped and removed from the structural steel compoents prior to demolition of the builidng?"

Previously answered in AMD 0004. No, the red lead-based paint does not need to be abated. During demolition, the steel components, painted with lead-based paint should be segregated from the building construction debris for disposal or recycling in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Please confirm that all copies are required.

To clarify that the listed submittals under spec section 25 05 11 are not duplicates, but distinct documents that serve different purposes throughout the system security lifecycle:

- System Security Plan (SSP): The draft version outlines the initial security policies, procedures, and controls for the information system and is submitted early for review and alignment. The final SSP is submitted once all relevant details have been finalized and validated, typically post-implementation or after any required updates.

- Control System Cybersecurity Documentation: This includes manuals, guides, and other system-specific documents that describe how the control system is secured. These materials are tailored to the installed system and help support operational understanding and compliance.

- Security Assessment Report (SAR):

The draft SAR is provided prior to system hardening and includes findings from an initial assessment of the security posture. The final SAR is submitted after hardening measures have been implemented and reflects the updated, post-mitigation state of the system.
