Electrical comment:
The MOP is indicated as 125 amps and 70 amps in two different locations within the submittal, which one is correct?
Public Works Comments:
Does the control panel come with a booth temperature display as shown on Drawing M-602? I could not tell.
Which leads me to ask, do they have a control panel drawing to reference? I would think they would need one To illustrate / show this below. I can trace out some of the ladder logic but can’t piece the displays as definitive.
They really need to have a panel drawing showing they are doing this in my opinion.

2. Does the control panel come with a booth pressure display as shown on Drawing M-602?
3. Does the control panel come with a cure time temperature.
4. Does the system come with a BACnet MS/TP controller. Drawing on page 50 shows Cat 5e Connections going into a main module. If this is a BACnet IP device there needs to be a BACnet MS/TP gateway in place to do the conversion from BACnet IP to BACnet MS/TP. They Did not submit any controller information so it’s hard to tell.

Paint Booth.
Response (Revise and Resubmit) from: Troy Grady Remarks:
Electrical comment:
The MOP is indicated as 125 amps and 70 amps in two different locations within the submittal, which one is correct?
Answer: The Titan unit has an internal disconnect rated at 60A for the load of the AHU. The MOP of the
Titan unit is 75A. After consulting MFIA, they informed us that the 60A disconnect is sized correctly, and the building feeder breaker needs to also be sized to match this at 60A. Feeder conduit/wire should be sized at <70-4>.
Public Works Comments:

Yes, Included is the Titan controls with displays.
Provided is page 51 of the schematics with Carel PC142 will be the connection point for the BMS Bacnet to Titan.

The placement of any windows, doors, ductwork, etc. not shown was not factored in the calculation results. Such areas may have a negative effect on the results. Also not included is the presence of the object(s) being painted, prepped, etc., which will affect the Actual
Foot Candle, reading at that area. Calculation is also performed assuming a clean maintenance factor and the effects of dirt and/or dust, etc.
are absent.
The factors above may reduce Light Values by up to 20%.
The numeric values represent the Initial Foot Candle reading at the calculation plane(s).

ABOUT CL
*NOTE
Normally open magnetic switches are intended to be used to trigger a relay (furnished by others) which disables the paint system. Because of the small capacity of the switch a solid state relay is recommended. It may be desired by others to utilize a separate power supply to segregate the relay (furnished by others) from the lighting power supply. The magnetic switch IS NOT designed to directly control light operation! The magnetic switch is rated for 10 watts resistive at a maximum of 300 VAC.
CAUTION
Overloading the switch circuits WILL cause failure. LDPI, Inc. recommends having a certified electrician/engineer review loads to ensure that overloading of switch does not occur.

Link Panels Koch Maxi-Grid Panels are also available linked in a continuous series of panels for installation into side access filter housings. MG Link Panels allow for quick and easy installation and removal of the filter from the channel as a single unit.
Link Panels eliminate the possibility of air bypass caused by gaps between filters or gaps at the end of a filter track.

11. Toxicological Information
EFFECT OF OVEREXPOSURE - INHALATION: Under normal use conditions, this product is not expected to cause adverse health effects. Inhalation of vapors in high concentration may cause mild irritation of respiratory system (nose, mouth, mucous membranes).
EFFECT OF OVEREXPOSURE - SKIN CONTACT: Under normal use conditions, this product is not expected to cause adverse health effects. Prolonged or repeated contact with skin may cause mild irritation.
EFFECT OF OVEREXPOSURE - EYE CONTACT: Under normal use conditions, this product is not expected to cause adverse health effects. Direct eye contact may cause irritation.
EFFECT OF OVEREXPOSURE - INGESTION: Under normal use conditions, this product is not expected to cause adverse health effects. Single dose oral toxicity is very low. Amounts ingested incidental to industrial handling are not likely to cause injury; however, ingestion of large amounts may cause injury.
CARCINOGENICITY: No Information
EFFECT OF OVEREXPOSURE - CHRONIC HAZARDS: Repeated or prolonged exposure may cause mild irritation of eyes and skin. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has determined that crystalline silica in the form of quartz or cristobalite that is inhaled from occupational sources is carcinogenic to humans (Group 1- carcinogenic to humans). Refer to IARC Monograph 68, Silica, Some Silicates and Organic Fibres (published in June 1997) in conjunction with the use of these materials. The National Toxicology Program (NTP) classifies respirable crystalline silica as "known to be a human carcinogen". Refer to the 9th Report on Carcinogens (2000). The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) classifies crystalline silica, quartz, as a suspected human carcinogen (Group A2). Breathing dust containing respirable crystalline silica may not cause noticeable injury or illness even though permanent lung damage may be occurring. Inhalation of dust may have the following serious chronic health effects: Excessive inhalation of respirable dust can cause pneumoconiosis, a respiratory disease, which can result in delayed, progressive, disabling and sometimes fatal lung injury. Symptoms include cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, non-specific chest illness and reduced pulmonary function. Smoking exacerbates this disease. Individuals with pneumoconiosis are predisposed to develop tuberculosis. There is some evidence that breathing respirable crystalline silica or the disease silicosis is associated with an increased incidence of significant disease endpoints such as scleroderma (an immune system disorder manifested by fibrosis of the lungs, skin and other internal organs) and kidney disease.
