About this file
This interim change notice amends the Military Sealift Command's Novel Coronavirus Disease Response Plan. It provides additional safety protocols for personnel and contractors working on government-owned vessels during voyage repairs, emergent work, onboard technical assistance periods, and shipyard availabilities. New requirements include wearing face coverings and gloves at all times while aboard vessels or in management offices. Contractors must clean work spaces before departing vessels. Crews are prohibited from dining in restaurants and must use food delivery or take-out. The onsite management team must submit work items for additional COVID cleaning and sanitization. For maintenance at contractor facilities, sites must implement daily temperature checks and screening questionnaires for all visitors and employees.
