VESSEL FINAL CLEANING
1. ABSTRACT
1.1. This item describes the requirements for the contractor to provide final cleaning and sanitation services to the ship prior to re-delivery.

5. NOTES
5.1. The contractor and all subcontractors, regardless of tier must consult the General Technical Requirements (GTR) to determine applicability to this work item. In performance of this work item, the contractor and all subcontractors regardless of tier must comply with all applicable GTR requirements.
5.2. The contractor and all subcontractors, regardless of tier are advised to review other work items under this contract to determine their effect on the work required under this work item.
5.3. The definitions of many terms used in this work item are found in Work Item 001.
6. QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
6.1. None additional.
7. STATEMENT OF WORK
7.1. Arrangement/outfitting
7.1.1. Prior to redelivery of the vessel, the contractor shall accomplish the following cleaning requirements onboard the vessel, using references 2.1.2 and 2.1.3 as guidance:
7.1.1.1. Clean, sanitize, and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces; utilizing damp wipe cleaning method and an EPA approved and registered disinfectant cleaning product. All areas shall be turned over in a clean, sanitized, and dry condition. "HIGH-TOUCH/FREQUENT CONTACT" Surfaces include but not limited to tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, toilets, faucets, sinks, and rails.
7.1.1.2. All interior decking surfaces within habitability living spaces, offices, work areas, lounges, public spaces, conference rooms, storage rooms, passageways, and stair-towers; shall be mopped using an EPA approved and registered disinfectant cleaning product. All areas shall be turned over in a clean, sanitized and dry condition.
7.1.1.3. All carpeted areas within habitability living spaces, offices, work areas, lounges, and public spaces; shall be cleaned by a professional commercial pressurized hot chemical equipment. All carpets cleaned shall be turned over and proven completely dry and free of mold or mildew.
7.1.1.4. All bulkheads and overheads within the birthing area where the contractor has completed work or transverse thorough shall be cleaned using an EPA approved and registered disinfectant cleaning product. All areas shall be turned over in a clean, sanitized and dry condition.
7.1.1.5. All galley(s), pantry(s), scullery(s), food preparation, serving, messing, food consumption, and food storage spaces; and all equipment, furniture, furnishings, shelving, and storage areas; shall be cleaned and sanitized using an EPA approved and registered disinfectant cleaning product. All areas shall be turned over in a clean, sanitized, and dry condition.
7.1.1.6. All deck heads, including toilets, urinals, showers, sinks, basins, faucets, vanities, mirrors, fixtures, bulkheads, overheads, decks, and interior deck drains; shall be cleaned and sanitized using an EPA approved and registered disinfectant cleaning product. All areas shall be turned over in a clean, sanitized, and dry condition.
7.1.1.7. Elevators, machinery control spaces, navigational bridge, lounges, and conference rooms shall be cleaned and sanitized. All consoles shall be wiped down using Chlorinated wipes.
7.1.1.8. All state rooms entered by the contractor, shall be entirely cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized. All linens (approximately 50) within these state rooms, shall be removed from the vessel, washed, dried, and delivered to the vessel.
7.1.1.9. After a work space or habitability space has been considered sanitized the ship yard shall place a placard on the bulkhead/door stating cleaning is complete, space has been turned over, and no one is allowed into the space. The Captain of the vessel will have the option to lock the space.

7.5. Preparation of Drawings/Documentation: None
7.6. Inspection/Test:
7.6.1. Inspection of all spaces worked is required, prior to final acceptance and turnover to Ship Force.
7.6.2. All habitability spaces, living spaces, working spaces, food serving/preparations spaces, shall be turned over by the required turnover milestones.
7.7. Painting:
7.7.1. Touch up disturbed paint resulting from contractor action.
7.8. Marking:
7.8.1. Replace disturbed markings resulting from contractor action.
7.9. Manufacturer’s Representative: None
8. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
8.1. Temporarily remove all interferences in way of areas and spaces to accomplish this work item. Return and restore interferences to original locations, orientation, and configuration.
8.2. Dispose of all dirt, debris, garbage, and waste generated by work accomplished in this work item.
