1. ABSTRACT:
0. This item describes Maintenance on the HVAC Systems as described.

1. NOTES:
0. The contractor and all subcontractors, regardless of tier must consult the General Technical Requirements (GTR) to determine applicability to this work item. In performance of this work item, the contractor and all subcontractors regardless of tier must comply with the requirements of all applicable GTR’s.
0. The contractor and all subcontractors, regardless of tier are advised to review other work items under this contract to determine their effect on the work required under this work item. Many of the definitions relating to performance of this work item are found in Work Item 001.
1. QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: NONE
1. STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIRED:
2. Contractor shall furnish a qualified Carrier 30HXS-146R-6-KA HVAC Service Representative to perform the following maintenance and repairs on the two Chiller Units and System.
0. Perform an operational test and inspection to include a refrigerant leak test for both HVAC Chiller units. Furnish a condition report of findings.
0. Remove both S.W. Condenser Heads for each Chiller Unit. Perform a condenser tube cleaning with soft brush and waterjet for each condenser tube per OEM recommendation. Inspect tube sheet condition and condenser head condition. Repair any damaged ENECON coating found damaged or worn.
1. Provide the services of a certified NDT inspector to perform eddy current testing for each tube. Provide report to MSCREP.
1. Furnish and install new anodes per OEM Specifications. Install condenser heads with new contractor furnished gaskets.
0. Contractor shall furnish equipment and materials to perform oil removal and lab analysis for both Chiller Systems. Furnish materials to replace and perform oil filter maintenance per the OEM specifications for both Chiller Systems. Furnish and replace make-up compressor oil to OEM specifications. Provide condition report of oil analysis.
0. Contractor shall furnish materials to perform filter drier replacement per OEM Specifications for each Chiller Unit.
0. Contractor shall furnish equipment to perform an operational test of both HVAC unit Chillers upon work completion with vessel representative. Operational test shall include test of safety devices to include low oil pressure alarm and shutdown, chill water flow switch test, low refrigerant pressure shutdown test, loss of s.w. cooling water switch test, high refrigerant pressure test. Results shall be recorded.
2. Contractor shall furnish a qualified Adrick Marine Group Model ADR-234Q Service Representative to perform the following maintenance and repairs on the Refrigeration Plant.
1. Perform an operational test and inspection to include refrigeratnt leak check for both units. Furnish a condition report of findings.
1. Contractor shall furnish equipment and materials to perform an oil and filter change per OEM specifications for both compressor units.
1. Contractor shall furnish equipment and materials to replace all system filter/ driers. Refrigerant Liquid Line Drier Cores PN RC4864, Suction Filter Cores PN RPE-48BD.
1. Contractor shall furnish equipment and materials to perform a condenser cleaning for each unit. The condenser heads shall be removed and the tubes shall be cleaned by soft brush and water. Contractor shall furnish and replace all disturbed gaskets and seals. Furnish and replace all anodes to OEM Specifications.
1. Contractor shall furnish equipment to perform a completion operational test of the refrigeration system. Operational test shall include test of safety devices to include low oil pressure alarm and shutdown, low refrigerant pressure shutdown test, loss of s.w. cooling water switch test, high refrigerant pressure test. Results shall be recorded.
2. Contractor shall remove the S.W. Relief Valve, Kunkle 4X4, Bronze, Model 218KM01AMS0175, DWG 8444465_G Item ASW-V-003 (SO6) (set @ 12 bar, 176PSI). Remove, clean and rebuild with contractor furnished materials. Reset to 75 PSI. Paint to existing scheme. Install new stainless tag for set point and date.
2. HVAC Condenser cleaning shall be done on one Chiller Unit at a time to allow for one unit to be online. Contractor shall provide cooler condenser supply water to system in the event JHSV is in dry-dock during work as per WI 011.
2. All disturbed insulation and lagging shall be renewed by contractor furnished labor and materials.
2. All disturbed gaskets and seals shall be renewed by contractor furnished labor and materials.
2. All removed lubricants shall be replaced with the O.E.M. compatible Shell Products by the contractor. Equivalent may be substituted with acceptance by MSCREP.
2. Furnish a condition Report of Findings and work performed. Condition report shall include JPG photographs of each condenser head and tube sheet.
