About this file
This document contains an aboveground storage tank inspection form and details of a related federal contract opportunity for maintenance and repair services. The inspection form provides a checklist for monthly inspections of aboveground storage tanks, related equipment, and containment areas. Items on the checklist include verifying tanks and piping are free of leaks, overfill prevention equipment operates correctly, and concrete structures remain intact without cracks.
The corresponding federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command to provide testing, calibration, adjustment, and repair services for cathodic protection systems, automatic tank gauging and fuel management systems, and associated equipment on aboveground and underground tanks, piers, and quay walls at the Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and management to perform the required work.
