About this file

This is a Small Business Preference Submittal form for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 7800 MLJ1046 issued by the City of Austin, Texas for bulk motor fuels and fuel-related products and services. The solicitation seeks to procure unleaded gasoline, ethanol fuels, diesel, biodiesel, renewable diesel, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), and special fuel-related services from a single vendor capable of providing comprehensive, cost-effective solutions for the City's entire vehicle and equipment fleet. The Small Business Preference Program is optional and participation does not affect an offeror's ability to respond to the solicitation.

The City of Austin recognizes two categories of small business participation under this program: Small Business Primes, which are offerors holding recognized small business certifications meeting U.S. Small Business Administration size standards and eligible for full preference, and Small Business Subs, which are offerors using one or more certified small business subcontractors representing at least five percent of the total offer value and eligible for partial preference. Offerors must identify their certification name, acronym, certification number, and expiration date, or alternatively complete an attached Subcontracting Plan if using small business subcontractors. The City reserves the right to verify certifications with certifying entities and may withhold preference, disqualify offerors, or void awarded contracts if any certification information is determined to be misrepresented.
