About this file

This is a Subcontracting Plan submittal form for IFB 7800 MLJ1046, issued by the City of Austin, Texas, for a bulk motor fuels and fuel-related products and services contract. The contract encompasses procurement of unleaded gasoline, ethanol fuels, diesel, biodiesel, renewable diesel, DEF, and special fuel-related services to supply the City's vehicle and equipment fleet through a single vendor engagement. The form provides bidders with the option to submit subcontracting arrangements, though subcontractor use is not mandatory and requires prior written City approval before implementation.

The City of Austin's Austin Small and Minority Business Resources (ASMBR) determined that no Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) subcontracting goals apply to this contract due to insufficient subcontracting opportunities and limited availability of certified MBE/WBE firms in this procurement area. However, contractors are encouraged to utilize certified small business subcontractors, including MBE/WBE firms, whenever feasible. The form includes blank line items for contractors to identify proposed subcontractors, including vendor identification codes, contact information, subcontract amounts and percentages, scope of goods and services, relevant experience, and small business certifications if applicable. Any changes to approved subcontractors require revised form submission and prior City authorization before implementation.
