About this file
This document is a code review plan for the construction of a new parole and probation office building for the Oak Creek Youth Correctional Facility (OCYCF) located in Albany, Oregon. The project will construct a single-story, 4,139 square foot building to house the parole and probation offices. The building will be of Type V-B construction and comply with the 2022 Oregon Specialty Codes for Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Energy, and Accessibility requirements. The project includes deferred submittals for pre-manufactured wood roof trusses. No automatic sprinkler system is required, however portable fire extinguishers and a fire alarm system will be provided.
The total occupant load for the building is 23 persons, with the number of water closets, lavatories, and drinking fountains meeting the plumbing fixture requirements in the Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code. The building is designed to be fully accessible per the 2017 ICC/ANSI A117.1 standards. This project is not located within the secure zone of the OCYCF facility.
