During each ordering or option period, Contract Section J, Attachment 11, TABLE B-1 Column 2, OP AFSAT APPROVED SORTIES (Government Unilateral Decision) and Column 4, AFSAT SORTIE ADJUSTMENT PARAMETERS (+/-7%) will be provided to the SP NLT 60 days prior the ordering period. CO initial notification may be sent by e-mail until Contract Section J, Attachment 11, TABLE B-1 Columns 2 and 4 are updated by the CO.At the end of each ordering or option period, the delta between Contract Section J, Attachment 11, TABLE B-1 Column 2, OP AFSAT APPROVED SORTIES (Government Unilateral Decision) and Column 3, ACTUAL ANNUAL OP 21 FS COMPLETED SORTIES will be recorded as a percentage in Column 4, AFSAT SORTIE ADJUSTMENT PARAMETERS (+/-7%) to determine if the adjustment parameters of +/-7% was exceeded. If the adjustment parameter (of +/-7%) is exceeded, the number of sorties outside the +/-7% adjustment parameter will be identified in Column 5, OP ADJUSTED SORTIES (Outside the Adjustment Parameters). If any number other than zero (0) is recorded in Column 5, then this number shall be multiplied by the Sortie Adjustment Rate (i.e. the unit rate) in this CLIN to determine the additional or reduced cost owed to the contractor. Furthermore, at the end of each ordering period, an adjustment to the contract by task order shall be made to Contract Section J, Attachment 11, TABLE B-1 Column 6, OP SORTIE ADJUSTMENT CLIN X005 COST and Column 7, CONTRACT TASK ORDER to memorialize the adjusted payment or the lack of an adjusted payment that is made during each ordering period. The offeror shall propose a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sortie Adjustment Rate. If the parameter in TABLE B-1, Column 5, ACTUAL ADJUSTED SORTIES (Outside the Adjusment Parameters) is exceeded proceed to the paragraph below.
An adjustment will be made to the contract by task order or modification to Contract Section J, Attachment 11 TABLE B-1 Column 6, CONTRACT TASK ORDER NUMBER or MODIFICATION NUMBER and Column 7, OP/OY SORTIE ADJUSTMENT CLIN X005 COST using the Government accepted SP Sorties Adjustment CLIN X005 Rate in Contract Section J, Attachment 11 to calculate the adjustment price. The offeror shall propose a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) for (1) one sortie to be used as the base for providing the Sortie Adjustment Rates for each OP or OY for sorties exceeding the AFSAT Sortie Adjustment Parameters (+/-7%).
