Collective Bargaining Agreement between contractor: The Bionetics Corporation, and union: International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local District Lodge54, effective 02/01/2019 through
06/30/2022.
In accordance with Section 2(a) and 4(c) of the Service Contract Act, as amended, employees employed by the contractor(s) in performing services covered by the
Collective Bargaining Agreement(s) are to be paid wage rates and fringe benefits set forth in the current collective bargaining agreement and modified extension agreement(s).
Memorandum of Untlerstandins
Purpose: This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) amends the Collective Bargaintng
Agreement (CBA) between The Bionetics Corporation and the lnternationalAssociation of
Machinists & Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 1471, District 54, AFL-ClO dated February
1 ,2019. Adding ARTI Logistics Employees to the agreement and specifically modifying the
PREAMBLE, ARTICLE 1 RECOGNITION. ARTICLE 1B TRANSFERS, CROSS.
UTILIZATION, AND APPENDIX "A" WAGES,
The following changes are incorporated into the CBA effective December 7.2019 for the remainder of the Contract:
PREAMBLE - COLLECTTVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
Etfective as of the 7th day of December 2019, The Bionetics Corporation and ARTI (hereinafter called the "Company"), and the lnternational Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 1471, District Lodge 54, (hereinafter called the "Union"), hereby agree as follows:
ARTICI-E 1
RE@GNITIOilI Section 1. The Company recognizes the Union as the exclusive collective bargaining representative with respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment and other conditions of employment for all full time and regular part-time employees, as defined in NLRB Case No.
08-RC-222306, and NLRB Case No. 08-RC-239583, employed by the Employer at the facility located at 813 lrving Wick Drive W, Building 4. Heath, Ohio on the Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory and Calibration Technical Order Contract (or any successor contract).
All other positions and classifications shall be excluded, including. but not limited to, any and all office clerical employees, professional employees, confidential employees, guards, supervisors and any other exempt employees as defined in the Act as well as any and all engineers, managers. business office personnel and buyers.
ARTICLE 18
TRANSFERS, CROSS-UTTLIZATION
Section 2. Employees may be cross-trained to perform more than one job. No employee shall be required to perform work thai he is not qualified to perform, and an employee shall not be required to exclusively perform work outside of his job classification other than on a temporary basis. Employees transferred to work in a higher paying classification will receive the rate of pay for that classification, in no instance shall an Employee be paid less than his/her classification rate. lncidental (4 hours or less) time worked in another classification will not be considered a "transfer" under this Article.
