About this file

This is Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement No. CN 214 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and George And Associates, Consulting Engineers, Inc., a consulting engineering firm located in Tallahassee, Florida. The original agreement was effective March 3, 2015, and this amendment was executed on February 18, 2020, by both parties' authorized representatives.

The amendment renews the professional architectural and engineering services agreement for a five-year period commencing March 4, 2020, and continuing through March 3, 2025, on the same terms and conditions as the original agreement. Key modifications include incorporating updated Public Records Requirements (Attachment J) into the agreement, adding a new section requiring cooperation with the inspector general in any investigations or audits, and replacing the scrutinized companies provision with expanded requirements regarding boycotts of Israel and business operations in Sudan, Iran, Cuba, and Syria. The agreement requires the consultant to maintain and provide public records at no cost if the agreement value exceeds $35,000.00, with contact information provided for public records requests directed to the Department's Office of Ombudsman and Public Services.
