About this file

This file is an electric cabinet heaters maintenance checklist for the State of Maryland's Housing Opportunities Commission (SHA) Centreville facility located on the Eastern Shore. The document serves as a service guide for a one-year HVAC repair and preventive maintenance contract at the SHA Centreville property. The checklist is divided into two maintenance categories: quarterly service procedures and seasonal changeover procedures. Quarterly maintenance includes inspecting access panels, checking for excessive noise or vibration, verifying thermostat accuracy, inspecting power wiring, examining heating coils, and testing all safety and auxiliary controls. Seasonal changeover maintenance encompasses inspecting electric heating coils, lubricating fan and motor components, verifying control wiring and operation sequences, checking air flow, cleaning fan blades and motor windings, inspecting and tightening electrical connections, lubricating bearings, and inspecting unit mounting hardware for corrosion and damage.

The checklist provides standardized tasks to be performed by service technicians during routine maintenance of cabinet heaters at the facility. Each maintenance item includes specific inspection and repair directives with checkbox formats to document completion. The document does not specify pricing terms, funding amounts, contract award dates, or response deadlines. No information regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, or renewal options is included in this maintenance checklist documentation.
