About this file
This document outlines COVID-19 safety protocols for contractors working at Veterans Affairs facilities. It requires contractors to verify vaccination status or provide negative COVID-19 tests. All contractor employees must complete daily health screenings and may be denied entry for failing. The protocols also mandate contractors immediately notify their contracting officer representative if contract performance is jeopardized due to denied facility access. For indefinite delivery contracts, compliance is expected for any task or delivery orders issued prior to this modification when work has already started.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center Austin for infrastructure upgrades at the St. Cloud Veterans Affairs Health Care System. Services include electrical, UPS, building management system, data center physical security, fiber infrastructure, and hazardous materials abatement work. All work must be completed according to specifications and contract drawings.
