About this file

This document is a Custodial section of a federal contract for custodial services at medical treatment facilities (MTFs). The document provides detailed requirements for custodial cleaning across various facility types, including hospitals, clinics, and child youth program facilities. Key specifications include service level standards, mandated cleaning frequencies for different facility areas, and special custodial requirements for specific buildings.

The document outlines precise cleaning protocols for different facility zones, categorized into classes (A through N) with varying cleaning frequencies. For medical treatment facilities, the requirements are extremely detailed, specifying cleaning methods for specific rooms, corridors, and areas such as patient rooms, examination rooms, corridors, and common spaces. Cleaning tasks range from daily waste container emptying and floor mopping to monthly chair cleaning and bi-annual chair shampooing. The document emphasizes infection control, specifying how equipment should be handled, transported, and sanitized, with particular attention to maintaining aseptic conditions in medical environments.
