The minimum guarantee is obligated at time of award. For this contract it is $2,000.00. The maximum for all awards is $1,000,000.

Bruce Bailey went over the Project A, Growden Energy Dissipater
The work needs to be completed by June 12, 2009 due to Air Force contract in the same area.
Project is estimated between $25,000 to $100,000. Payment bond will be required once task order is awarded.
Ginger Gilmore went over Project B, Vulcan Road Reconstruction
This project once was considered part of a Stewardship requirement. The Forest has decided to pull the road construction part out of the Stewardship.
Project is estimated between $100,000 to $250,000; therefore, a bid guarantee is required with proposal. When task order is awarded both payment and performance bonds will be required.
The Government handed out pictures of the road areas. The pictures are attached to this modification.
For material sources, the Contractor may contact Stotts Construction from Republic, Washington. They have two places for material: Malo Lake and the Pit Shop.
Ginger Gilmore went over Project C, Example Only of Road Maintenance Services.
This is an example project and is part of the business proposal. The Government will include the specifications in the next amendment.
Question. How long will the Contractor’s have to respond to the task orders.
Answer. There is not a certain amount of time. The Government hopes to give the Contractors a reasonable time period; however, in some situations, the Government will request a fast turn-around time.
Question: If Contractor does not blast or is not interested in the task order should they still provide a proposal.
Answer: It is understood that not all Offerors will be perform all types of work in every area, but it is to their advantage for the technical proposal to demonstrate the ability to perform as much variety as possible. Currently, based on the economy, each Contractor needs to know what his/her competition is. It is anticipated there will be competition for this contract. Therefore, Contractors should make sure everything is clearly addressed in their technical and business proposal requirements. Contractor who do not blast may consider subcontracting that portion of the work.
