MEMORANDUM FOR INDUSTRY
FROM:
Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC)
SUBJECT:
Adversary Air (ADAIR) Market Research Industry Forum and One-on-One Sessions 1.
HQ ACC AMIC will be hosting an open forum briefing on Thursday, 8 Sep 16, in order to share information on the Air Force’s ADAIR requirement and gain Industry knowledge, perspectives, and capabilities. The Air Force is in the market intelligence phase. No acquisition strategy has been developed at this time. The Air Force’s intent is to use the information from this forum and on-going business case analysis to begin to develop a business/acquisition strategy. There are multiple ADAIR initiatives taking place that the Air Force hopes to clarify for Industry.
2. The forum will be conducted at the Magnuson Hotel and Convention Center at Oyster Point, 1000 Omni Blvd, Newport News, VA 23606 in Huntington Room A-C. Due to space limitations, please limit the number of individuals attending to three (3) individuals per company. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the open forum will begin at 8:30 a.m. See Attachment 1 for the agenda and list of speakers.
3.
During the open forum session, we will respond to questions regarding ADAIR requirements. If you have questions prior to the forum, please submit them in writing and mark anything you consider proprietary. At the conclusion of the event, all questions and the government’s answers will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov without publicizing the point of origination. Please send your responses to Attachment 2, as well as any additional questions, via email to Mr. Steve Brannen (stephen.brannen@us.af.mil) and Ms. Tiffany Bray (tiffany.bray@us.af.mil) no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Thursday, 1 Sep 16.
3.
Following the open forum session, individual meetings will be available for those interested in conducting a one-on-one session with the Government. The one-on-one sessions will be held at the Magnuson in the James River Room, beginning at 3:00 p.m. on 8 Sep. Each individual meeting will be 50 minutes and is available by appointment on a first-come basis.
