Position Objective
The Human Resources (HR) Manager, under the supervision of the Director, Administration, is a Human Resources generalist responsible for a broad range of HR functions related to payroll, benefits and entitlements, performance management, and oversight of the maintenance of personnel files and of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Duties and Responsibilities
· Execute a full range of HR functions related to payroll, performance management, and staff development, ensuring that established work plans and regular HR support activities are delivered consistent with standards and schedules;
· Administer staff benefits (e.g. allowances, medical, pension) ensuring that guidelines are properly observed and that these are available for staff to receive or avail;
· Advise CEO on issues related to non-compliance with HR guidelines by MCA personnel, as well as anticipate issues that may affect the delivery of HR services;
· Explain the process and guidelines for availing benefits and other entitlements to staff and managers to build an informed interaction for receiving HR services and strengthen general compliance across the MCA of HR guidelines;
· Oversee the maintenance of MCA personnel files and use of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in support of day-to-day operations and planning;
· Consolidate and maintain documentation on issues and best practices to support process improvement activities.
Requirements (Education, Experience, Technical Competencies)
· University degree in administration or human resources
· 7 years’ experience in the organization and delivery of human resource services
· Good command of English, both written and spoken
