Review, organize and update various grant information spreadsheets, records and files. Respond to numerous PIs and Grantee Institutions’ inquiries regarding grant matters (e.g. funding, reporting, budget, no-cost extensions, etc.). Work with program managers and NSSC Grant Office to facilitate the funding/award process of new and existing grants.

Work with project and resources managers regarding commitment/obligation/costs phasing plans. Support the development of research solicitations and the review of scientific and technology proposals that are received. track, verify status and monitor the progress of grants and cooperative agreements including the preparation and coordination of grant materials and required resources.

Animator Graphics Designer/Animator/W eb Editor

Minimum Associated degree or BA/BS, within related discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.

Experience in information design for technical material with an emphasis on Science and computer skills; software knowledge. Bioinformatician Ph.D., within related discipline from an accredited institution.

Develops methods and software tools for understanding biological data in the fields of science, biology, computer science, information engineering, mathematics and statistics to analyze and interpret biological data. Assist with management of data-oriented deliverables (i e., data design, validation checks and critical data). Engineer Technician II Minimum of High School diploma.

Three (3) plus years of applicable professional experience.

Supervisory experience not required.

Provides technical support to engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, operations, or manufacturing process improvement. Works with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, defined plans, or procedures to perform testing, assembly, manufacturing, inspection, troubleshooting or operations functions on components, equipment or systems. May work with computer aided design (CAD), conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data, assist in research work, support design cycles, or support operations processes.

Installs, configures, operates, maintains and administers items such as file servers, print servers, operating systems, Database development software and various other IT hardware and software components. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Logistician Minimum of BA/BS, within related discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.

Five (5) plus years of applicable professional experience.

Supervisory experience not required.

Identify and document requirements for the payload flights. Identify payload logistics tasks for each project and integrate these tasks into the specific Project Integrated Master Schedules to ensure on time completion of the task and proper logistics team resourcing. Establish an Integrated Payload Logistics Master Schedule across projects to assist with payload logistics resource planning. Update and review this integrated schedule on weekly basis with the payload logistics team as the primary tool used for setting priorities, assignment of schedule items looking ahead and tracking task completion. Post the current schedule to the Logistics SharePoint site (MS Project and PDF format) and ensure that the payload logistics team understands the tasks and due dates and provide inputs for completion of tasks and any addition or changes that need to be captured.

Operations Engineer Minimum of BA/BS, within related discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.

Five (5) plus years of applicable professional experience.

Supervisory experience not required.

Experience in Verification and Validation testing, flight preparation of hardware, operations planning, flight operations, ground control testing, data analysis and documentation for those activities. Including the planning and preparation anticipated flights , preparation of hardware for flight including late load, ground control testing, MMOC training, flight operations, any recovery operations, data analysis, and reports to document as appropriate.

Support of the science platforms and experiments that are destined for use and operations on the ISS. Coordination effort associated with readying a payload for flight that is performed on site at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Space Station Processing Facilities (SSPF) in science and hardware labs set-up specifically for supporting each projects science pre and post flight operations. This includes coordinating the arrival of the Principal Investigator (PI) team and any equipment, hardware, chemicals, specimens and samples pre and post flight during a mission. Coordination is also required for KSC on-site ground controls and possible procurement of emergency items that may be needed outside the required Payload Support Requirements Document (PSRD) for a payload.

Program and Project Support Specialist I

Minimum of High School diploma with a preference for an Associate Degree in recognized field of Engineering or Science from an accredited institution.

Junior level, with background in project support, and familiarity with Office tools and project management processes.

Also update and maintain all of the existing public affairs social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr). Advise and recommend new proposals for innovative and emerging platforms. Real Property Specialist

Technology Transfer Reports Specialist

Manage the process of reviewing NTRs and evaluating their potential and prioritization for patenting. Process appropriate disclosures and reports for technology transfer. Prepare progress reports and present to management and the NTR Rep. Upload and update NTTS and Stratos data base with all the reports, information, and attachments and any updates.
