Project No.ID FLAP CANYON MULTI(1)
Project: Indiana and Orchard Shared Roadway
# General Technical Question Answer Date
1 X I am looking for the contact information of the COR on the project Indiana and Orchard
Shared Roadway.
The Government has not appointed a COR at this time. 6/4/24
2 X What is the intention of the dewatering item? We are assuming this item is for dewatering for the demo/install of the Box Culvert.
see subsection 602.03 and Subsection 209.06 of the FP‐14 6/18/24
3 X Please confirm if the contractor is to plan to install the box culvert while irrigation water is off (October‐April) or if the intent is to bypass the canal and install the culvert while irrigation water is on.
see Sub‐section 108.01(b) of the SCR's. 6/18/24
4 X Typically, there is an item for filing the SWPPP, inspections, etc… On this contract there are only items for install of BMP’s. Is there a pay item where the management of the
SWPPP is intended to fall under?
No. See FP‐14 Subsection 109.05, Scope of Payment 6/18/24
5 X For the concrete box culvert, would a cast‐in place method be accepted instead of precast?
The Government will not be evaluating proposed design changes before contract award. Please submit bids according to the solicitation documents.
6/18/24
6 X
What is the grading designation for the roadway aggregate? I have found table 703‐2 but I am unsure if we are to be planning to use C, D, or E gradation base material. Can you please clarify?
See FP‐14, Subsection 703.06 Crushed Aggregate. 6/20/24
