About this file
This document is a vehicle specification for Hillsborough County Fleet Management detailing requirements for a Ford F150 Light Truck 4WD Regular Cab 6.5' Box (PCN: 169745). The specification outlines a 2a light truck with a 3.5L V6 flex fuel engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, 4x4 part-time drive, and a regular cab configuration. The required upfit includes an 85-gallon fuel and tool combo with an L-shaped fuel tank, toolbox, fuel transfer pump, window tinting, heavy-duty spray-on bedliner, and Whelen vertex 4-corner hide-away LED strobes to be installed in the headlamps and tail lamps.
The dealer is responsible for providing title, county tag, and registration, including temporary tags and two-way overnight shipping of all documentation. The dealer must provide quarterly updates on the build/order status and follow specific installation guidelines for equipment add-ons, particularly the remote power distribution point. Additional requirements include installing white LED directional lights in four corners of the vehicle (front grille and rear bumper), with a toggle switch mounted in the dashboard bottom to control the lights independently of the vehicle's ignition. The specification emphasizes careful wiring installation to prevent chafing, shorting, or snagging, with the entire circuit to be fuse-protected.
