About this file
This document is a vehicle specification for Hillsborough County Fleet Management detailing the procurement of a Ford F250 Truck 4WD Regular Cab 8' Box with a specific Product Control Number (PCN: 164289). The specification outlines a comprehensive truck configuration classified as a 2b Light/Medium Truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) between 8,501-10,000 lbs, featuring a 6.2L Flex-fuel V8 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, 4x4 drive with auto-locking hubs, and various standard and specialized equipment options.
The required upfit for the vehicle includes several specific additions such as a spray-on bedliner, running boards, a wrap-around brush guard with winch mount plate, a 10,000 lb. winch with remote, a tool box, light bar, Whelen vertex 4-corner LED light kit, and a new county tag. The dealer is responsible for providing title, county tag, and registration, including a temporary tag and two-way overnight shipping of documentation. Additional requirements mandate the dealer provide quarterly updates on the build/order status, follow specific wiring practices for equipment add-ons, and install white LED directional lights in the front grille and rear bumper corners with a dedicated toggle switch for activation.
