About this file

This document is Addendum 6 to the 100% Complete Construction Documents for the National Park Service Replace Wastewater Plant South Rim Village project (GRCA-257282), dated September 30, 2026, prepared by Jacobs Government Services Company. The addendum addresses questions from bidders received on September 16, 2026, and incorporates minor updates to the construction documents through markup format showing additions in red, deletions in green, and notes in blue.

The addendum includes revisions to one drawing (Sheet 299, DWG 32S3001 - Process Building Structural Section) with a revised specification reference to Section 07 26 16 Belowgrade Vapor Retarders, and updates to Specification Section 44 42 41 (Grit Washing and Dewatering Unit) that modify the maximum water content to 40 percent and maximum volatile solids content to 20 percent in the dewatered grit product. No standard details were revised. The revised documents will be incorporated into conformed contract documents after project award. The specification section details equipment requirements including a single grit washing and dewatering unit (CLS-2012) with specific functional characteristics (150 gpm grit slurry flow, 1 psi inlet pressure), performance requirements (90 percent grit removal efficiency), control panel specifications (NEMA 4X, Type 304 stainless steel, 480-volt three-phase), and field testing requirements including a 4-hour performance test with hourly sampling to verify specifications are met.
