g. Three position handle: On, off and tripped.
h. Molded-in ON and OFF markings on breaker cover.
i. One-, two- or three-pole as indicated on the Drawings.
j. Current and interrupting ratings as indicated on the Drawings.
2. Remotely operated breakers:
a. Basis of design for remotely operated breakers Square D. Solutions by other manufactures listed in Part 1 are acceptable:
1) Powerlink ECB-G3 Breakers
2) NF-G3 POWERLINK control busses attached to interior rails in a panelboard
3) POWERLINK G3 power supply
4) Modem Kit 6382G3MODEM for use with POWERLINK G3 Controllers
b. Title 24 and ASHRAE 90.1 compliant.
c. Remotely monitor and control circuits.
d. Ability to control breakers remotely – ON, OFF
e. Integral branch circuit overcurrent protection as required by the NEC. Circuit breakers shall have a UL-listed interrupting rating sufficient for the application or UL-listed series connected ratings for the maximum available fault current at that point in the system. Submittals reflecting the use of relays or contactors to perform remote switching shall show evidence in writing that the relays or contactors are listed to withstand the available fault current.
