Do you have a characterization of the water to be treated? | See Drawing 00-D004 for the influent characterization.
Is there any specific pollutant or is there an industrial or manufacturer company that generates waste that cannot be treated by a system other than ORENCO Recirculating Textile Filter? (for example: Tanneries, oil exploitation, animal fats or oils) | No. The facility is located in the remote village of Stehekin, WA. Influent is domestic wastewater.
Do you have the requirements or characterization of the water once treated? or it simply must meet EPA standards? | See Sheet 00-D004 for the effluent limits.
Does the natural park have a drinking water treatment plant or what is the source from which the system is fed to supply the facilities? | Potable water is provided in Stehekin via a groundwater well. Water is disinfected prior to distribution.
Is it possible to have the measurements of the tanks that are buried, such as primary tanks and pre-anoxic tanks, and if they are in good condition to continue using them? | RTF tank dimensions are detailed on Drawing 03-D101. These tanks are new.
If you are asking about the tanks shown on Drawing 03-X101, these tanks are not in good condition and must be removed as noted in the documents.
Spec Section 081116 Aluminum Doors and Frames lists FRP face sheets as noted in Part 2, 2.1, B. On the attached door schedule the schedule lists Aluminum as the door type. Nowhere is there FRP such as the Special Lite SL-17 or SL-20. Is the intent of the schedule to use an aluminum face sheet on flush doors? There is a door from Special Lite uses an Aluminum Face Sheet for Flush doors, the SL-16. Please clarify on which door to bid. The SL-17 and SL-20 would be the best solution as the face sheet is extremely durable to exposure damage caused potentially by Mother Nature in the Stehekin area. The SL-16 is viable as well, just want to note that the face sheet being aluminum is softer in density and will dent easy. | Doors are to be FRP Face Sheet (FFS) with an aluminum core as noted in Specification Section 08 11 16 Part 2, 2.1, B and as noted in the door finish schedule. This correspondes to the SL-17 door.
