About this opportunity
This Special Notice was published by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), a component of the Department of Homeland Security, regarding a Security Equipment Deployment Services contract for airport checkpoints. The TSA seeks to award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide security screening equipment deployment services at airports and other government sites nationwide.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide a draft Statement of Work for industry review related to the Security Equipment Deployment Services contract for checkpoints. Interested contractors are requested to review the draft SOW and attached government files, which include templates, checklists, and descriptions of work. Comments on the draft SOW are due to the TSA by January 6, 2020. The TSA plans to release a formal Request for Proposal during the second quarter of fiscal year 2020, along with draft evaluation criteria, pricing sheets, and contract data requirements, which will be provided to industry by December 20, 2019. The anticipated contract would have a one year base period and four one-year options to provide project management, engineering, installation and other technical services in support of TSA's security equipment needs at transportation checkpoints.
