About this file

This document contains a de-installation and installation checklist for the L3 Implant Sciences QS-B220 explosive trace detection system. The checklist provides guidance for contractors to inventory, test, clean, visually inspect, package, and document the condition of the QS-B220 unit being removed and returned. Photographic evidence is required along with signatures and dates from the contractor, systems integrator, and federal employee witnessing the process.

The related federal contract opportunity is a draft statement of work for security equipment deployment services at transportation checkpoints. The Transportation Security Administration seeks industry feedback on the draft SOW by January 6, 2020 and plans to release the request for proposal in the second quarter of fiscal year 2020. The SOW scope involves providing deployment services for checkpoint screening equipment.
