About this file

This document contains a de-installation checklist for the Smiths Detection 500DT security screening device and related draft statement of work for security equipment deployment services at transportation checkpoints. The checklist outlines procedures for inventory, unit condition checks, functionality testing, visual inspections, cleaning, packaging, and sign-off when removing a 500DT unit from a location. It includes lists of required spare parts and maintenance materials. The statement of work indicates the Transportation Security Administration plans to issue a request for proposal in the second quarter of fiscal year 2020 for security equipment deployment services at checkpoints. Industry is asked to provide any questions on the draft statement of work by January 6, 2020.
