About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Special Operations Command is seeking contractors to perform a comprehensive audio/visual system modernization at the Soundside Club on Hurlburt Field, Florida. This non-appropriated funds (NAF) requirement involves completely removing and replacing all existing AV equipment that has reached the end of its useful life, including the installation of four new laser projectors with 130" retractable screens, new digital display and touch controls, wireless microphones, speakers throughout ballrooms and common areas, and upgraded connectivity with HDMI and USB-C ports. The project requires contractors to coordinate with the Club Manager to avoid disrupting scheduled events, obtain necessary approvals from Civil Engineering and Fire Safety, and ensure the three ballrooms can operate independently or in combination with overflow capability to a conference room. The government will award based on best value considering both price and technical capability, with proposals requiring a technical approach demonstration and itemized price quote. Key deadlines include questions due September 29, 2025 at 4:30 PM CDT and final proposals due October 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM CDT, with two site visits scheduled for contractor familiarization.

This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designation and no incumbent contractors are identified in the documentation. The project has an estimated 14 business day performance period, with work restricted to Monday through Friday between 0800-1600 hours, though the government has indicated openness to a 60-90 day timeline to ensure professional installation quality. The work encompasses multiple spaces including the Broadway Ballroom (1,911 sq ft), Ton Son Nhut Ballroom (2,646 sq ft), Bagram Ballroom (1,911 sq ft), Pre-Function Area (1,176 sq ft), plus hallways, bathrooms, and outdoor areas requiring comprehensive speaker replacement and new CAT 6/HDMI cabling throughout. Performance will take place at 107 Kissam Street, Building 90910 on Hurlburt Field, Florida, with contractors required to follow specific base access procedures and coordinate with facility management. No budget range or award value estimates are provided in the available documentation, and the project falls under NAICS code 334310 for Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing.
