About this opportunity
This Special Notice is a request for information issued by the United States Air Force, Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center regarding future Global Prepositioned Materiel Services. The notice seeks industry input to determine capabilities for providing future enterprise warehouse and readiness materiel management services across multiple geographic combatant commands.
The Special Notice requests information from contractors by January 17, 2019 on their ability to provide receipt, storage, inventory, maintenance, outloading and reconstitution of pre-positioned materiel assets supporting Pacific Air Forces and U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa. Services may include locations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command areas of responsibility, as well as limited continental United States support. The Air Force seeks to procure these global prepositioned materiel services on an enterprise-wide basis across multiple regions to support pre-positioned stockpiles of war reserve materiel.

11 Aug 2020 UPDATE: The Global Prepositioned Materiel Services (GPMS) Final Request for Proposal (RFP) has been temporarily delayed. However, ACC AMIC is looking to post the GPMS Final RFP around September/October 2020. We request that all potential offerors hold any additional questions until after the Final RFP has been issued.

The United States Air Force, Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center (ACC AMIC), Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA, is in the process of determining Industry's ability to provide future-state services in support of U.S. Air Force prepositioned materiel, including both War Reserve Materiel (WRM) and non-WRM prepositioned materiel, in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), and U.S. European Command (USEUCOM)/U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) Areas of Responsibility (AORs), as well as limited services in CONUS. Future sites under the GPMS program (previously identified as "Enterprise-WRM") may include prepositioned materiel in the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) AOR. These services may include, but not limited to, providing receipt, storage, inventory, accountability, preventive/corrective maintenance, outload and reconstitution of pre-positioned materiel supporting Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) and U.S. Air Forces in Europe/Air Forces Africa (USAFE/AFAFRICA), as well as periodic support for CONUS-based materiel. Prepositioned materiel supporting U.S. Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT) is currently supported under FA4890-17-C-0005.
