Request for Information (RFI) II
Avionics Replacement Program (ARP)
The purpose of this RFI is to request responses to the following sets of questions.
Section III
(Responses due on or before 12:00 pm CST on 4 February 2022)
1. Does your company intend to be the Prime for T-6 ARP? YES / NO
2. Does your company intend to be the Prime Integrator for T-6 ARP? YES / NO
3. Does your company intend to be only a Sub-Contractor for T-6 ARP? YES / NO
4. To be considered as a capable source for the purposes of this RFI, a copy of the T-6 ARP
Letter of Intent (LOI) between your company and Textron Aviation Defense (OEM) must be provided.
Note: A copy of the LOI is requested for any vendor interested in being the Prime or Prime Integrator.
Please submit the LOI via email to Welth.Cooper@us.af.mil and Gale.Vandeventer@us.af.mil.
5. Please list controls that are exclusively by touch and have no redundant entry if the pilot is unable to use touch control.
6. Are customizations for displayed data included in the TSO issued for the avionics computer performing the function? Does this include the change for requirement in ARP Systems Requirements Document (SRD) paragraph 3.6.1.1?
For Reference: 3.6.1.1 Electronic Attitude Director Indicator (EADI) Unusual Attitude Symbology The installed system shall change the eyebrow color on the ADI from black to red when passing through 25 degrees of pitch.”
7. With Prime Item Product Function Specification (PIPFS) now provided, reply with any updates to ARP Systems Requirements Document (SRD) Industry Survey Matrix v2 on TBD-PIPFS requirements.

8. What is TRL for Large Area Displays (LAD) exampled in your response to Section II, Question 9?
For Reference: Section II Question 9. Regarding Large Area Displays; what Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), environmental specifications, Solar exposure, Repair Turn Around Time, drop, shock, and impact can your company's products meet?
