About this file
This appears to be an announcement of a solicitation for the Rough River Dam Safety Modification Phase II project, focusing on new outlet works and cutoff wall construction at Rough River Lake in Falls of Rough, KY. The project is being managed by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Louisville and is being issued as a full and open competition with a HUBZone 10% price evaluation preference and subcontracting plan requirement for large businesses.
The solicitation requires contractor services for planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications, and inspection activities. Quotes are due March 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, with submission required through PIEE. The contract will be awarded as a single firm-fixed-price contract, with payment via Electronic Funds Transfer. Pricing must be complete and realistic across all line items in the price breakout schedule. The work falls under NAICS code 237990, and contractors must be registered in SAM.gov prior to quote submission.

INTRODUCTION
This appendix is presented in two major sections; section C1 provides laboratory test results and some analyses of the soils at the project site while section C2 provides similar types of presentations for the rock.
The information is temporally organized by investigation or O&M activity, each of which has the first page bookmarked. To assist the reader in spatially locating the borings, the last two pages of this appendix provide a table in which the boring identifications have been correlated to the sub-areas as shown on the ‘Overall BLP’ in Appendix B.
