2. Please state whether the organization possesses all prior ISO 9001 certificates and whether there have been any gaps in certification.
Answer: Yes
3. Please include a copy of the current ISO 9001 Certificate with the final PWS. The Certificate is a public document and is not subject to FOIA. All accredited CB’s must verify that the certificate is valid and is free from suspension or revocation or the threat of suspension or revocation at the time of bidding.

4. Please state whether the organization has the previous 3 years of audit reports in its possession (yes or no).
Answer: Yes
5. Please state whether the organization has been issued any MAJOR nonconformances in the previous 3 years by the current CB (yes or no). If yes, state how many.
Answer: No
6. Section 3.1.1 references a “Document Review.” This is not a requirement in ISO 17021 or any other relevant standard. Perhaps this reference is to a Stage 1 audit which would not be relevant for recertification. In addition, there is a reference to a “renewal audit” which should be the recertification audit.
Answer: Document Review may be required if our current certification lapses notwithstanding that any prospective auditor’s understanding of our business processes requires familiarity with our QMS documentation in order to add value to audit
