1 PWS C.5.23 is not used now but in old it was for Maintenance and repair of Portable Fire Extinguishers. TE 2, Workload history, Page 2, still shows 1.0 Man Year.
Should the TE 2 be changed or the PWS? Please clarify.
The Maintenance and Repair of Portable Fire Extinguishers has been removed from the requirement. A revised TE #2 will be uploaded with the forthcoming Amendment.
2 For PWS Section C.5.12, please clarify whether pest control will include family housing areas.
Contractor will provide pest control in family housing.
3 For PWS Section C.5.17, please clarify whether the contractor will perform maintenance to lift stations.
Contractor will not provide maintenance to lift stations.
4 In reference to paragraph C.1.5.1.1, can the Quality Control Manager position be dual-hatted with the Safety Manager?
No, two positions are required.
5 In reference to paragraph C.5.3.3, please provide historical workload for the contractor-required detailed estimates for IJO projects.
This information would be irrelevant as this contract does not include IJOs beyond emergency repairs.
6 In reference to paragraph C.5.3.4, please clarify what format the drawings are required to be submitted in.
Drawings will be submitted in AutoCAD format.
7 In reference to paragraph C.5.7, please provide the estimated workload for future IJOs. This information would be irrelevant as this contract does not include IJOs beyond emergency repairs.
8 In reference to paragraph C.5.19.5.6, is the contractor required to perform preventative maintenance on hospital and dental equipment? It yes, please provide inventory of equipment.
There is no hospital or dental care equipment maintenance on this contract.
9 C.5.19.6., “Plumbing and Steam Fitting Work” Please further amplify and explain in the contractor’s responsibility for installing hospital and dental equipment.
There is no hospital or dental equipment maintenance in this contract
10 C.5.19.7, “Painting” Is the contractor responsible for furnishing paint and supplies? Yes, all required materials will be supplied by the contractor.
11 The RFP states, ““All Contractor employees with access to a government information system must be registered in the Army Training Certification Tracking System [ATCTS] at the commencement of services, and must successfully complete the DoD Information Assurance Awareness training prior to access to the information systems and then annually thereafter.” How long [hours] is the DoD Information Assurance Awareness training? Where is the training provided? Who provides the training?
Training takes approximately 3 hours online on Government furnished computers.
