Electrical Parameters 4 Power 2 Control Contacts, #4 AWG through #4/0 AWG 3/C PCG.

Up to 600 Volts; 180 Amps.

The Joy Ramp Power Connector is a field attachable plug commonly used for 416/220 volt ramp power applications at U.S. Air Force bases. A rugged combination of neoprene and corrosion resistant metal parts form a tough, moisture resistant assembly which will stand up to the roughest treatment.

Both the male and female plug will accommodate from #4 AWG through #410 AWG cable. Connector rating up to 180 amps 600 volts.

Plugs may be used together in-line or with stationary receptacles. The female plug will mate with USAF Aircraft Service contactors and flush mounted receptacles. Plugs furnished with rainshield and cable grommets.

Economical Attach to your own cable; use to repair damaged cable assemblies.

Fast installation Takes only a few minutes: prepare cable; tighten conductors in place; secure protective sleeve in place.

Moisture tight Tight fitting neoprene components and cable gland assure a moisture.tight assembJy. When engaged the resilient shroud of the male tightly encloses the female molding affecting a moisture tight seal.

Safe All metal components are thoroughly isolated by a barrier of molded neoprene. Rigid wiring barriers protect individual conductors.

Versatile Using tight fitting grommets, one plug will accommodate any cable from #4 AWG through #4/0 AWG and cable 00 from 1%" to 2%".

Co. It Is recommended that the completed cable, connector assembly be rated based on the capacity of the cable.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1 . Slip groml11~t Ilnd. out~r pr()teQtlv~ I;lJe~veover cable.

2. Remove cable Jacket 7". Skin power and ground lead

3", Insert Into proper contacts and tighten set screws (two allenhead screws per contact).

3. Skin pilot leads 1/2" and crimp to terminal connector.

4. Slide protective sleeve and grommet forward and thread Into place. Tighten hose clamps.
