1. Solicitation Number:
W50S8R-20-B-0001
2. Location of Project:
Fire Station - Mansfield Ohio ANG
3. Information Requested: (Include Specification Section and/or Drawing Number and Page if inquiring about a discrepancy)
1) For the area with the Rigid Grid Access Flooring: It calls for carpet tiles to be installed ¼ turned atop of the panels. I do not believe that Patcraft carpet has any static dissipative properties! In the specs, it says the “anti-static agent must be an integral part of the material, not surface applied” Is there different carpet going in that area? If not, is there a manufacturing process that Patcraft would adhere to so that the carpet tiles have anti-static properties?
2) The only areas I see calling for tile are:
-123 Jan. Closet -125 Men’s -126 Women’s -141 Unisex -225 Men’s -226 Women’s I’m assuming F-5 is what the Room Finish Schedule is calling CT-1 but it’s very confusing. I still need a size for that material.
It is extremely unclear what the wall tile is supposed to be. It just says CT on the Room Finish Schedule. There is nothing shown on the Elevations for any of the restrooms or other areas except for Rm 141 and Rm 116. On the Interior Color Schedule, under the comments, it says “field color, janitors closet” for W-1 and W-2 says “accent color in restrooms” under the comments. But, no elevations are shown on the prints so I don’t have any way to see where the accent color is supposed to go. I also do not know the size of that material! I need more information about the ceramic. .
3) In the specs it calls for an “adhesive tab system for carpet installation”. Does this mean they do NOT want traditional adhesive used and prefer the tac-tile tabs everywhere we would be installing carpet tiles?
4) What are we using at all of the thresholds of the doorways? Many of them show a threshold the width and thickness of the doorway on the prints, but not all do.
5) The room schedule and Specs do not match, plans call for CT-1 and CT-2 but there is no CT-1 and CT2 on the finish schedule. Please confirm the materials to be used on this project.
6) The Tarkett, replay commotion rubber tiles for F6 are supposed to be interlocking or square edge tiles?
