Solicitation # W50S87‐21‐B‐5005 Questions & Answers Final Add/Alter Small Air Terminal 13 July 2021

1. Question: The attached electrical drawing ES102 (Electrical Site Plan) is shown not to scale. This drawing will require a scale referenced to process the electrical installations

Answer: The correct scale is 1" = 10'‐0". Please mark your drawings accordingly. A corrected drawing will be issued by Addendum.

2. Question: It appears there is no separate specification section for the dehumidifier unit (DHU) scheduled on drawing M‐701A. The performance and controls sequence are clearly defined on this schedule, but required construction features related to the dehumidifier’s cabinet, internal components, and refrigeration system are not. We request to know what specification section applies to this unit. Additionally, we request to know if it is permissible to use R410A refrigerant for the DHU in lieu of the scheduled R404A so long as all other performance requirements are met.

Answer: That is correct. This section was inadvertently omitted and will be issued via Addendum.

Refrigerant type is open, as long as unit performance is met.

3. Question: Section '233713.23 ‐ Air Registers and Grilles' is listed in the table of contents, but the

PDF includes '233713.13 ‐ Air Diffusers' instead.

Answer: The Project Manual includes both Section 233713.13 Air Diffusers for adjustable blade diffusers and 233713.23 Air Registers and Grilles for fixed blade grilles. The table of contents erroneously omitted Section 233713.13 but a corrected version will be issued by Addendum.

4. Question: Is there an Attachment 17 (DRAWINGS-SMALL AIR TERMINAL-VOL 1 OF 4)?

Answer: Yes, it is the landscaping drawing

5. Question: Amendment 001 spec book table of contents includes the following sections, however these sections are not included in the PDF documents:

230923.11 ‐ Control Valves

230923.12 ‐ Control Dampers

230923.14 ‐ Flow Instruments

230923.16 ‐ Gas Instruments

230923.23 ‐ Pressure Instruments

230923.27 ‐ Temperature Instruments

Answer: Project Manual Table of Contents is in error and will be replaced via Addendum. The project manual includes one DDC controls section 230923 (44 pages in volume 2) & none of the instrumentation "sub" sections (.11 through .27).

6. Question: The following sections are included in the PDF documents but not listed in the Table of

Contents:

260936 ‐ Modular Dimming Controls 334400 ‐ Storm Water Utility Equipment

Answer: The Table of Contents erroneously omitted Section 260936 ‐ Modular Dimming Controls and 334400‐Storm Water Utility Equipment. These sections apply to the project. A revised Table of Contents will be issued by Addendum.
