About this file
This background bullet paper details the Air Defense Communication Services (ADCS) contract, a critical support mechanism for the Air Defense Infrastructure (ADI) enterprise. The contract, currently in its third option year and ending on 31 March 2027, is a firm fixed-price GSA IT 70 Schedule contract with a $94M ceiling, jointly funded by Air Combat Command (72%) and Pacific Air Forces (28%). The ADCS contract covers four primary mission systems: ADI Mission Voice Platform (secure communications), ADI Security Suite of Tools (cybersecurity), ADI CONR Forensic Systems (event analysis), and Low Altitude Radio Kit (mobile radio coverage), providing 365/24/7 maintenance across multiple air defense locations including CONR AOC, EADS, WADS, Alaskan NORAD Region, and Pacific ADS. Key contract benefits include consolidated support, cost efficiency, specialized expertise, enhanced cybersecurity, and improved interoperability across ADI systems, with General Dynamic Information Technology (GDIT) providing the contract maintenance.
