About this file
This document details G/A/G Radio Circuits and RADAR Data Services for various communication network configurations across the Continental United States (CONUS). The services include multiple circuit types: G/A/G Radio Circuits (Exterior and Interior), Scramble Circuits, and RADAR Data Circuits, each with specific technical specifications and equipment requirements. These services utilize complex networking technologies such as DISA MPLS, fractional T-1 circuits, Cisco routers and switches, and specialized conversion equipment from vendors like L-COM and Sunhillo.
The technical infrastructure supports radio and RADAR data transmission between sensor sites and Backup Control Centers (BCCs), with detailed specifications for terminal equipment, circuit characteristics, and data handling. Key components include MVP Radio Pages for routing audio, Cisco ISR devices for implementing Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP), Port Sharing Units for data broadcasting, and specialized conversion equipment like Sunhillo's RICI for transforming IP Mode IV data to serial formats. Circuit specifications consistently specify technical parameters such as trunk types (64Kbps to 128Kbps), line specifications (ANSI T1.403), encoding (B8ZS), and signaling protocols, demonstrating a robust and standardized communication network design.
