About this file

This document contains a justification and approval for other than full and open competition for a federal contract opportunity to renovate primary care buildings at a Department of Veterans Affairs medical center. The project requires upgrading the overhead paging system to incorporate Valcom hardware and components in order to integrate seamlessly with the Valcom-based system already used throughout the facility. A sole source justification is made on the basis that only Valcom equipment is compatible to ensure full integration. Market research found no other suitable options. The contracting officer will determine fair pricing based on previous similar procurements. The solicitation will be publicized on SAM.gov.
