About this file

This is an Implementation Timeline attachment for a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) for a new Licensing System. The contract is expected to be awarded in January 2027 following approval by the Nevada Board of Examiners. The implementation is structured across four phases spanning from 2027 through 2033. Phase 1 (August–December 2027) focuses on core product and system functionality, including historical data transfer, customer account creation, integration with the state's banking system, NDOW staff training, testing environments, vendor agent setup, help desk support, and multiple licensing programs such as waterfowl applications, tag returns, turkey and snowcock licenses, and conservation education programs. Phase 2 (January–July 2028) addresses remaining applications, draws, and harvest questionnaire reporting for additional tag and permit types. Phase 3 (August 2028–December 2030) covers product enhancements including a mobile application, e-tag functionality, and a law enforcement field application. Phase 4 (2031–2033) includes discretionary enhancements such as paperless options, gift cards, promotional codes, point of sale equipment upgrades, special licenses and permits functionality, physical game guide preferences, customer chat features, and system-generated emails.

The file does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, current system environment details, or specific funding requirements and sources. The implementation timeline is designed to provide vendors with a clear roadmap for calculating development and implementation requirements when preparing proposals for the NDOW Licensing System RFP.
