FTSS V Industry Day 1-on-1 Meeting Questions
1. The NAICS code for FTSS portfolio is expected to be 541330, Engineering Services (using the Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons exception). Do you agree this is the correct NAICS, and if not, what NAICS do you recommend and why.
2. Same question for the PSC code J069 – Maintenance/Repair of Training Aids-Devices
3. Do you believe COMS for military simulators is a commercial service? Why?
4. Are you interested in proposing as a Prime to the Unrestricted/complex Lot, the small business set-aside/non-complex Lot, or both? (Or is your interest in subcontracting opportunities only?)
5. If you didn’t respond to the sources sought, tell us whether COMS is a core competency of your business, and tell us about your most recent/relevant simulator COMS contract (scope, magnitude, complexity…)
6. Confirm your business size status relative to NAICS code 541330 (annual revenue over the last three years averaging no more than $41.5M to classify as a small business. Also confirm any small business sub-categories your firm qualifies for (woman-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, 8(a), SDB, etc…)
7. Give us up to 3 recommendations and/or desires that you would like NAWCTSD to consider in its FTSS V acquisition strategy development.
8. Are you interested in the Government’s preliminary impression on whether your company stands a reasonable chance for award based on your submitted response to the sources sought and answers to these questions? (Note: This information would be advisory in nature only based on a cursory capability/experience review, and would not prevent your company from submitting a proposal.)
9. What did you get out of the briefing?
