| CONTRACTOR QUESTION ONE QUESTION PER PAGE: Response to RFC #3 stated that the 400 SF (20 x 20) lay down area on the pier was to "allow for 10x20 stackable office trailers, the 8x10 conex box tool room and whatever else the contractor can fit in the space allotted." With the conex box & the office trailer within the lay down area, this leaves 100 SF (a 2 ft gap between the office and the tool room adds 20 SF but is extremely limited on its use). Paragraph 3.1.4 directs KTR to provide "Forklift (propane)". Assuming the offices can open directly to the exterior of the lay down area, the forklift would not fit in the provided area unless parked at an angle as it is typically over 12 ft long and 4 ft wide. While parking at an angle would allow the forklift to fit, this would make the lay down area all but unusable for anything else. Further compounding this, Mobile Mini has stated that Stacking their offices voids their insurance and they do not recommend it. All other supplierss report that in order to stack offices, the offices must be 16'x20'. |
Is it possible for a larger area to be provided? If not, are their other office suppliers you would recommend? We have tried Mobile Mini and Wilscot.
