About this file
This document provides guidance for accessing and utilizing a TruView site containing laser scans and photographs of buildings at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. The TruView site was developed by AECOM under an existing GIS contract to support site visits for MILCON projects replacing or repurposing buildings damaged by Hurricane Florence. Users can view laser scan overviews and navigate panoramic images tagged with location data and photographs from the scanning process. Measurements can be taken within panoramic views. Additional help documentation is available through the TruView user interface.
The related federal contract opportunity solicitation is for design-build services for two MILCON projects at Camp Lejeune: P-1800 for a multi-story II MEF Operations Center and P-1801 for a multi-story 2nd MARDIV/MLG Operations Center and renovation/addition to Building 2. The Navy is seeking proposals due by a specified date to design and construct the administrative and training facilities.
